Talks & events in the Dept of Genetics

The Department of Genetics runs two main series of talks. Members of the University who are not members of the Department of Genetics are welcome to attend.

External seminars

These are normally held on Thursdays at 2.30pm, in Room G6. All are welcome, including those who are not Department members

Graduate Student talks

These are held on Tuesdays at 1.00 pm, in the Genetics Department Tea Room. Second and third year graduate students present their research - and as of the remit includes Postdocs when a space in the schedule is available.
Postgraduate and Undergraduate students in the Department MUST attend; all others are welcome

Some talks are open to Department of Genetics members only:

  • Postgraduates organise a Journal Club in some years, but there are no meetings set for the 2013/14 session
