Everybody is now working with large data sets and is more and more involved in computational analyses. Soon, we all will have to do that at the High Performance Computing University Information Services (HPC - UIS).
In preparation for that, we now arranged a visit from Paul Sumption to Genetics.
Paul will walk us through the "UIS research computing services" on WEDNESDAY THE 22ND OF FEBRUARY AT 2PM IN THE PART II ROOM.
The idea is that Paul's presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. Here is an example of questions that are likely to be covered:
a) What can people in this department use the HPC for?
b) How does one get access?
c) How do you use it?
d) What training is available (students and postdocs)?
e) What about security and patient sequencing data?
