The Department held its annual Research in Genetics Day at the Sainsbury Laboratory on Tuesday 1st December. Fourteen talks were given by a mix of Postgrads, Postdocs and Group Leaders, providing an excellent sampling of all our research activities.
During breaks, attendees had a chance to view posters and quiz their creators about their research. The joint winners of the poster competition were:
- Helen Zenner and Jenny Richens [St Johnston Lab] Development of tools to study polarised secretion using super resolution microscopy
- Francesco Meghini [Kimata Lab] Dissecting the molecular function of the APC/C at the centrosome in Drosophila melanogaster
