NST 1A Evolution and Behaviour
This course is taught jointly by the Departments of Biological Anthropology, Biochemistry, Experimental Psychology, Genetics, Plant Sciences and Zoology. The first half of the course explores the origins, evolution and diversity of life on Earth and in the second half you study the behaviour of animals in an evolutionary context:
- Evolutionary theory
- The origins of cells and evolution of plants
- The evolution and diversity of animals
- The evolution of behaviour
- Primate and human evolution and behaviour
