NST III Systems Biology
This interdepartmental course, which is available from October 2010, aims to acquaint students with backgrounds in the biological, physical, mathematical, engineering or computational sciences with the concepts and techniques of each others’ disciplines that are relevant to an integrated approach to the study of living systems. It is mainly open to Natural Sciences Tripos students anticipating obtaining a First or a IIi at Part II, but Maths Tripos students are also eligible.
There will be 4 Modules [Introduction; Data Acquisition and Handling; Modelling and Analysis of Networks; Synthetic and Executable Biology] plus two projects to be undertaken.
