Department of Genetics

Many congratulations to Professor Anthony W.F. Edwards FRS, Emeritus Professor of Biometry, Fellow of Gonville and Caius, and former Part II student of R.A. Fisher - gaining a First in 1957 - who this week was elected to a Fellowship of the Royal Society.
In addition to his pioneering work on quantitative methods, Anthony's interest in the history of Genetics in Cambridge and beyond has been much appreciated by members of the Department including during our centenary. We offer him our warmest congratulations.
