We participate in two schemes to support prospective applicants from the UK or Ireland, from groups currently underrepresented in postgraduate research in the University of Cambridge.

1. AIM PhD is a 6-month, online programme to assist applicants from underrepresented groups with their application to doctoral study at the University of Cambridge.

The programme runs from June to December 2024. During this time, you'll receive personalised support from admissions staff and students who have been through the application process themselves, giving you the confidence to make a competitive application to Cambridge. Full details, including how to apply, are here: https://www.postgraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/aim-phd

2. Experience Postgrad Life Sciences is an annual scheme that offers paid 8-week research internships, in partnership with Corpus Christi College, to UK and Republic of Ireland residents who are studying at a UK or Republic of Ireland university for their undergraduate bachelor degree and are in their penultimate year of study. more details are here: https://www.exppg.lifesci.cam.ac.uk
