Epigenetics and Epigenomics
I have a background in information systems, mathematical logic and bioinformatics. In the past I have focussed on gene regulation and evolution, and have wider interests in complex data sets and modelling life systems. I also have qualifications in business enterprise and innovation particularly focussed on life sciences and am interested in the wider role that science plays in society.
I seek to better understand genetic and epigenetic processes by developing and applying computational methods to genomic datasets. For the last several years I have focussed on epigenomic measurements from immune cells, in particular, the role of DNA modifications in gene regulation.
