Department of Genetics

 

Many courses in Part IA and Part IB of the Natural Sciences Tripos are multi-departmental. Members of the Department of Genetics contribute to the teaching of several of these courses.

Courses with a genetics component can form a useful basis for those who wish to obtain a degree in genetics, but they are not required. Students undertaking Part II Genetics may have previously studied on a wide range of courses, and many have a medical or veterinary science background.
