Mary Cleaton, a PhD student in the Ferguson-Smith Group, has won a Presidential Prize and the Outstanding Abstract Award at ICE-ENDO 2014 [International Society for Endocrinology + Endocrine Society annual meeting], held in Chicago 21-24 June.
Both prizes were awarded for her poster, entitled 'Maternal Plasma DLK1 in Pregnancy Is Conceptus-Derived and May Act As a Read-out of Fetal and Maternal Wellbeing'.
Mary's PhD is funded by the Cambridge Centre for Trophoblast Research (CTR).
Mary also recently won a prize for her presentation at the Mammalian Genetics and Development Workshop in November 2013
