After this year's very successful Research in Genetics Day on Thursday 5th December, came the presentation for the best poster by a Postgraduate student. It was decided to award two prizes, and these went to:

  • Melissa Antoniou-Kourounioti - 'SUMOylation of topoisomerase 2α influences its localisation to the mitotic centromere'
  • Belgin Yalcin - 'Shaping Endoplasmic Reticulum in Drosophila axons'
