Dr Henrik Salje Appointed as University Lecturer

The Department of Genetics takes great pleasure in announcing that Dr Henrik Salje will be joining the Department as a University Lecturer from October 2019.Henrik Salje

Dr Henrik Salje is joining us from the Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases Unit at Institut Pasteur in Paris, where he heads a research group, and is also Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His research focuses on the development of data driven mathematical models that capture the complex way in which pathogens are able to spread and persist in communities. His research is funded from a range of sources including from the ERC, NIH, CDC and the Gates Foundation. 

We are delighted to have Henrik join our Department.
