External speakers give stimulating talks on a variety of subjects. Once schedules are published, they will appear in our 'Upcoming events' feed.

When : These talks are normally held on Thursdays in term-time at 2.00pm, although occasionally times are different, or extra talks are inserted at different times

Where : Usually in the Biffen Lecture Theatre but not always. Please check 'Upcoming events' feed in the right-hand column of the home page or Talks.cams feed for exact location

Who may attend : All are welcome, including those who are not Department members

Getting information about these talks

  • Details of the seminars are given in the 'Upcoming events' feed in the right-hand column of the home page and 'About Department' section of this website.  Click on 'View all events' for the full list. 
  • A feed should appear on this page once talks titles are announced Talks.cam feed available
  • A poster providing information about dates, speakers and titles is displayed on the noticeboard in the Department and emailed to Department members prior to the start of each term.
  • For Department members, all Genetics Seminar Series talks are recorded on the shared Outlook departmental calendar.
